Abstract

Social work plays a vital role in addressing personal and community challenges by implementing structured intervention strategies. This study evaluates the effectiveness of social work methods in Jalgaon by gathering insights from practicing social workers. The research aims to identify the strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement in social work practices within the region. Using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, the study employs surveys and interviews to assess the real-world impact of different intervention strategies on beneficiaries. It explores how social workers utilize various methods, including casework, group work, and community organization, to address social issues such as poverty, mental health, family conflicts, and community development.
Findings from this study highlight the effectiveness of specific interventions while also identifying limitations faced by social workers, such as resource constraints, policy gaps, and social stigmas. By analyzing these factors, the research provides recommendations for enhancing social work practices, improving training programs, and strengthening policy frameworks. This study contributes to the growing knowledge of social work effectiveness in semi-urban and rural areas, offering valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and practitioners. Strengthening social work interventions in Jalgaon can lead to better outcomes for individuals and communities, fostering long-term social development.
