Abstract

This study investigates the effects of mobile phone dependence on adolescent mental health, comparing urban and rural school students. A sample of adolescents completed surveys assessing mobile phone dependence and mental health outcomes. Results show significant differences in mobile phone dependence and mental health between urban and rural students. Urban students exhibited higher levels of mobile phone dependence, anxiety, and depression.
